A person who wanted to register today (create a login) never received a confirmation email. The error message said it is because ---Authentication failed at MailKit.Net.Smtp.SmtpClient.AuthenticateAsync etc I had to use Mailkit because initially the contact form would never set up for me. At this point, is there a way I can use it, so that my Registration process will work? As well, when I clicked on the new user's name in the control panel I was directed to a Page Not Found message. In the past a lot of rascals created fake logins and I locked their email addresses in the control panel. Also, in viewing the error message on that problem, I see that the browser on the internet sees my desktop computer path. Is that right? Thank you again for any help. I would like to have users be able to make comments without needing to sign in, but the control panel does not permit that. So, I have a lot of needs. I hope there may be a simple way to make this work properly, or even a hard way. I am using the commenting that is for GDR (hope I have that right) --Can that be deleted?
