I set up a fairly simple instance using the option through Visual Studio template. I selected to make the site non-public. After logging in with admin credentials, I did not select the google password offered. I was not able to login using the credentials I setup. I wonder if it is necessary to use the google password offered, or if by selecting the 'not open to public' that I created a nonfunctional site. I had tried setting up a more complex instance with the comments and contact form but could not yet figure that out--did not easily start up.
